Addicted To Love
Addicted to Love’ is one woman’s tale of lost love, her desperate search for new love and her ultimate journey towards falling in-love with herself.
The Law of Attraction takes on a whole new vibe in this hilarious and poignant romp. Addicted to love follows the ups and downs of online love- life coach Willy Weinstein. Willy is a single mom, fortyish, with long dark curls and a voluptuous physique. Though quite physically obsessed, she considers herself to be a spiritual soul- mostly because she has read every Wayne Dyer book ever written! In fact, she considers Wayne to be the wind beneath her wings. Her clients are enamoured by her savvy love life advice, which she offers through her Man-ifesting coaching site. Her own love life is, however, in considerable disarray! Willy is convinced that the best way to get over the abandonment her ex-rocker husband-Rocky,( who has recently taken up with a stunning, blond-haired, blue-eyed weight-loss coach named Angel Mello) is to find herself a new boyfriend.
Willy is supported by an array of colourful characters. There is her enlightenment coach, Feather, who even with her ‘few’ extra pounds thinks she is the hottest thing that ever hit this planet. Willy also finds empathetic hugs and help interpreting her dreams from her best friend/ psychosexual therapist Rosie - a dark haired, rake- thin, Italian beauty. The light of her life is 10-year-old Halo- with chestnut Shirley Temple ringlets and big pudgy cheeks and of course there is the ever-faithful pooch, Woofer - really adept at licking up Willy’s tears! Joining the cast is a roster of boyfriends who seem to get progressively weirder as they quickly enter and exit Willy’s life. Foot fetish Sean, Stone the stoner, Duv, the producer ( who thinks they should restrict their dates to public places) and Sterling the disappearing
artist - just to name a few.
